Federico Folloni
Graduate in conducting orchestra at the Conservatory G. Verdi in Milan and in piano at the Conservatory A. Boito in Parma where he studied also composition. He was M° R. Abbado’s assistant during Festival Verdi 2021 for “Un ballo in maschera” and in 2022 with “La Forza del destino”. He was M° S. Rolli’s assistant in productions for Festival Verdi, and Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. He had a collaboration with soprano R. Kabaivanska and Filarmonica dell’ opera Italiana “B. Bartoletti” and then had a symphonic concert with the same orchestra. He conducted the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Paris under the guidance of M° N. Thomson.
He conducted the Orchestra Filarmonica “M. Jora” of Bacau and concerts with Orchestra da Camera of Todi and Orchestra of Associazione Nuova Cameristica during events held in Milan.
He attended national and international masters with M° D. Gatti, M° G. Noseda, M° E. Inbal, M° N. Ryusuke, M° U.B. Michelangeli, M° N. Thomson, M° J. Farrer, M° A. Allemandi and M° G. Gelmetti in Chigiana Academy.
He partecipated in different events and competitions as Mancinelli Competition in Orvieto,
Bucharest Conducting Competition, Nino Rota Competition, Mendelssohn Competition, and the selections of Besancon Competition, Lovro Von Matacic Competition, and National Composing Competition Città di Varese.
He took part to the Opera production of Rigoletto and Le Nozze di Figaro as music coach, assistant and conductor, produced by Conservatory of Parma.
He conducted Orchestra of Verona to the Officer Club with opera’s arias from italian repertoire and the Chamber Orchestra Dedalo Ensemble di Brescia with first national execution of young composers’ compositions. Since 2013 he has performed recitals with mezzosoprano A. Superchi and since 1999 he has been teacher of music theory, pianoforte and orchestral exercises.
